| Kowloon Walled City of Hong Kong!
Quick bits of info: From 1974 up until it was demolished in 1993, the city was inhabited by squatters, junkies and refugees. Before that, Triads controlled the city from about 1948 to 1974. But cops raided the city a shit ton (over 3000 raids) and extinguished the Triad presence. Much of the city, particularly the lower levels, never saw sunlight due to its height.
From Wikipedia: "The City was notorious for its excess of brothels, casinos, opium dens, cocaine parlours, food courts serving dog meat, and secret factories. The Kowloon Walled City was also infamous for its high number of unsanitary dentist clinics, since unlicensed dentists could operate there without prosecution."
Around the time it was demolished, there was an estimated 50,000 inhabitants.

Wires and pipes all over the goddamn place.

Before the squatters and junkies took over, 1973:

Something of a walkthrough, mostly exterior shots but around 6:00 you see the inside:
And a scene from Bloodsport! Actually shot within the walls of the city:

| America didn't hesitate when articles of impeachment were brought upon a governor for getting his dick wet, but impeaching a vice president guilty of war crimes is preposterous.

He even used a smudgy felt-tip marker! How raw is that?!

| Following the green route, starting at Borden Park (John R. and Hamlin), I rode to Cycle Works at 14 & Crooks to buy some lights for my bike, then I headed on over to the Bham skate park to meet up for FNS. Then after FNS, around midnight, I rode back to Borden (pink route). I figure the ride to be about 23 miles total... and I ain't the slightest bit tired! Hell, I even skated during FNS. BYAAAWW!!!
Not quite as pulverizing as last week's route though.

| I started at Borden Park (John R. & Hamlin/22 Mile) around 5pm and rode to Ferndale (9 Mile & Hilton) and then back to Borden Park. 38 miles in about 6 hours (a couple of those hours were spent visiting friends).
